Having started my professional life as a cleaner in a quaint French hotel in the middle of nowhere when I was 15, I realised that making a guests stay special was the part of the job I loved (not that long days ironing in French summer heat wasn't up there...). I went on to work in various holiday parks, restaurants and cafes until I decided, when travelling, that my coffee making, toilet cleaning days were over. I applied for a job as a trainee estate agent on my return. I got the job and progressed to Branch Manager within18 months. I thought I had found my calling, until I started running an Airbnb.

Creating and improving the places we were renting out really woke up my creative side and dealing with people on holiday was more fun to me (most of the time!) than those trying to sell a house. Keeping guests in a happy holiday bubble and steering them away from problems became a strength. 
And from there, Quayvo was born.
